เรื่องราวหลังจากที่โรงงานประกอบรถยนต์ General Motors (GM) ปิดตัวลง จากการเผชิญภาวะเศรษฐกิจถดถอยในสหรัฐฯ ซึ่งทำให้ชาวเมือง Dayton (รัฐ Ohio) ตกงานกันทั้งเมือง จนเปิดช่องทางให้นายทุนจากจีนเข้ามา Take over และทำโรงงานใหม่แทน โดยเปลี่ยนรูปแบบเป็นโรงงานผลิตกระจกสำหรับรถยนต์แทน ภายใต้แบรนด์ ‘Fuyao’ ปัญหาต่างๆ ของชาวเมืองดูเหมือนจะคลี่คลาย ชาวเมืองมีงานทำ มีเงินจับจ่ายใช้สอย ทว่ากลับเกิดปัญหาใหม่เพิ่มขึ้นมาคือวัฒนธรรมและวิธีการทำงานที่แตกต่างกันเกินไประหว่างชาวอเมริกันกับชาวจีนที่มีหน้าที่มา Training งาน เมื่อทั้งสองชนชาติต่างประสานเข้ากันไม่ได้ สถานการณ์อันตึงเครียดหลายๆ เรื่องราวจะเป็นอย่างไรต่อไป
American Factory
The story follows the closure of the General Motors (GM) assembly plant in the face of a recession in the United States. This caused the residents of Dayton (Ohio State) to lose their jobs in the entire city. Until opening a channel for Chinese capitalists to come in, take over and build a new factory instead.
